About This Slab
This is the thick one. At nearly 4 and a half inches, this Hard Maple slab has more depth than any other maple in our inventory. That thickness means options -- a chunky farmhouse table, a built-up edge profile that screams quality, or a waterfall joint that shows off an impressive cross-section of tight, pale grain.
The width runs from 21 to 25 inches with a consistent, workable profile across the full 9+ foot length. Hard Maple's famous durability means this slab will look just as good in 20 years as the day you finish it. If you've ever seen a vintage bowling alley lane -- that warm, honey-toned glow that develops over decades -- that's what maple does with time.
