About This Slab
You'll smell this slab before you see it, and you'll love both. Western Red Cedar has an aroma that turns any room into a mountain cabin, and this 10-foot piece fills a space with that warm, woodsy scent the moment you start working it. It never fully goes away -- even finished pieces release a hint of cedar fragrance on warm days.
The heartwood is a rich reddish-brown with streaks of golden sapwood, and the natural color variation across the length tells a story of decades of growth. The center shows some natural character where softer wood has given way to expose the dense, solid heartwood underneath -- it's honest, it's real, and it adds visual texture that no mill can replicate. We can cut this to your desired thickness.
